The Gypsy Polka has been composed for flute, guitar, piano, marimba, percussion (vibraphone, swanee whistle, whip) and string quintet. It was released as part of the album 'Welcome to the Party' in 2018.

Composer's Note:
A solo fiddler infuses the polka with the style and sound of Eastern European folk music. The strings are the first to imitate each other shortly before the flute and marimba join the fun too. A contrasting central section follows featuring a whimsical solo for Contrabass before the return of the swanee whistle and central gypsy tune.
